I bought a double pack at Wal-Mart and put one in my U.S. PS2, one in my Japanese PS2. I've been using both for about 3 years now without any problems what-so-ever. I will say though that I'm not sure what a Japanese PS2 would do with a memory card that had US game information saved on it, but again if you use seperate cards there's no problem. While the nations comprising the European Union had freely opened their mutual borders with other EU states (from Spain in the western side of Europe all the way to the Czech Republic in the eastern side of Europe), the US is doing just the opposite, closing its very border with other North American nations.
