China (traditional Chinese: ; simplified Chinese: ; Tongyong Pinyin: Jhongguó; Hanyu Pinyin: Zhōngguó (help·info); Wade-Giles (Mandarin): Chung¹kuo²) is a cultural region, an ancient civilization, and, depending on perspective, a national or multinational entity extending over a large area in East Asia.

The last Chinese Civil War (with major combat ending in 1949) has resulted in two political entities:

China has one of the world's oldest and continuous civilizations, consisting of states and cultures dating back more than six millennia. It has the world's longest continuously used written language system, and is viewed as the source of many major inventions. Historically, China's cultural sphere has extended across East Asia as a whole, with Chinese religion, customs, and writing systems being adopted to varying degrees by neighbors such as Japan, Korea and Vietnam. The first evidence of human presence in the region was found at the Zhoukoudian cave and is one of the first known specimens of Homo erectus, now commonly known as the Peking Man, estimated to have lived approximately from 300,000 to 550,000 years ago.

Can China create money out of thin air and lend it to another country to make money?
Q. Can China do this just like how banks create money out of thin air via debt? Assuming the US pays back the debt, China will be richer. But, if US defaulted, it doesn't matter to China because they just conjured up the money in the first place.

A. Banks don't create money of out thin air. They have deposits from people with savings and checking accounts. They loan out this money... China could loan dollars out too. They have a bunch of them from US people buying more chinese goods than chinese buy american goods. good luck! No one can just 'conjure up money'. That isn't the way the systems work.

How is china considered a communist nation if they sell there labor for pennies to democratic nations?
Q. That completly eliminates and controdictes communism. The idea that your selling your goods, is entirely capitalistic and if your selling it to get some profit to pay those workers your therefore not a communist society. P.S. How is china a communistic country?

A. China had tried communism. But now they are Chinese-characterized Communism in which capitalism is alowed to exist. The government still has everything through the law, they can take personal property whenever they want. But they government chose to let people feel that they were in capitalism. So that people works harder than in communism. That is what the government willing to see. The government has the biggest corporation in most importance feild. The government have tax income and power tomonopolize the market. In other feild the government is the shareholder of mainstay corporation. In another word, the Chinese-characterized communism make the whole country a company.

China is a cultural region and ancient civilization in East Asia. China refers to a one of the world's oldest civilization comprising successive states and cultures dating back more than 6,000 years. Due to the stalemate of the last Chinese Civil War following World War II, China currently looks like two separate countries: the People's Republic of China (PRC) and Republic of China (ROC). The PRC administers and governs mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, while the ROC administers and governs Taiwan and its surrounding islands. Each government used to claim that it was the only official government of China. However, PRC is nowadays widely accepted in the world as the only offical government.
