At the time of the Spanish conquest of the Americas, The Aztecs had a vast civilization in what is now present-day Mexico City and the Inca had a developed empire at Cuzco. Surely the familial structures of indigenous peoples were affected as well as how ritual and worship was to be conducted (No sacrifices!...Jesus should go solo).
