The following sections discuss several important aspects of leadership including a description of what leadership is and a description of several popular theories and styles of leadership. New Leader Essentials and Leader Specific Training. But, I would like to know what the classes are called and have them listed by Leader Rank (Wolf Leader, Bear Leader). I would also like to know what insignia is awarded to the leader after completing each training course. If a book or page were avaiable that looked just like the Cub Scout Handbook with check boxes to show the requirement was complete, that would be perfect! The training process is as follows: All leaders view the Fast Start video appropriate for their program (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, or Venture), attend Youth Protection Training (or view it online) and attend New Leader Essentials, which is the same for all programs. Then they complete the Leader Specific Training for the job that they have. For Cub Scouting, the Leader Specific Training is Tiger Cub Leader, Cub Scout Den Leader and Asst. (for Wolf and Bear), Webelos Den Leader and Asst., Cubmaster and Asst., and Pack Committee Members.
