Prefecture (from the Latin Praefectura) indicates the office, seat, territorial circumscription of a Prefect. The term prefecture is also used to refer to offices analogous to prefectures. Crozon is located in the Finistere department, so the Prefecure is Quimper. There is no Prefecture in Brest, nor in Crozon. If you need to go to the Sous-Prefecture, you have to go in Chateaulin.
