presidential election?
Q. Who are your predictions for Dem and Rep candidates in the upcoming presidential election...i don't care who you like or who you want to win...based on the opinions of the majority of Americans, who do you think has the best shot to get each party's nod to run?

A. i think giuliani, R, and clinton or obama, D...in either case the country isn't ready for a woman or a black man, so rudy will win...which i don't think is too terrible, he is a republican but he's not hyper conservative...and with a democrat majority in the house, i think that balance will actually do a lot of good to restore SOME unity in the peoples' minds...it could actually be a productive four years if it played out the way i would expect it too!

Companies can donate in their own name to political action committees that support candidates or issues if they wish. Under the first amendment, there can be no limit to that, as the use of their money to put out a message constitutes free speech. Note that while Obama got the second most money of any politician from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the vast majority of that money was from low level employees giving small amounts. The decision makers (directors, officers, and lobbyists) donated 10:1… [cont.]
