How do I get my Native American daughter recognized by her tribe?
Q. My daughter is half Sioux Indian (paternal). Her father past away when she was 2-weeks-old. Her paternal family no longer keeps contact with us. I want to know how to go about getting her recognized by the tribe.

A. If her father was a full tribal member with 100% blood quantum, it's a no-brainer. Get a copy of her birth certificate and his death certificate and contact the Tribal Council office for his band of the tribe. His family has nothing to say about this. You simply tell them that her father was proud of his heritage and you would like your daughter to be an active member of her tribe. You don't have to do mounds of research. They'll tag her membership from his and his heritage is already documented. You are her legal representative and you can petition for membership on her behalf without help from her grandparents. How do the Orang Asli distribute products within their tribe?
Q. can someone help me? i need to know how the orang asli distribute products within the tribe. how do they distribute food in their tribe? does everyone hunt for the tribe as a whole with people getting equal shares or do they hunt for themselves and share with family and friends? thanks in advance.

A. well, orang asli,, or The original people of malaysia are using money to buy food. and they get the money from their own business,, which is by selling their plantation or honey that they get from the bee hive,, and a lot more of risky jobs. they even send their children to universities,, due to the high achievement of their children and not government subsidies. I believe their management within their tribe is much more systematic than people who live in city. -just saying that orang asli/orang asal are doing better than hunting for food.
